15 Drills to Improve Stamina in Tennis

Here are a few drills you can do to help improve your stamina in tennis:

  1. Tennis Endurance Drill:
  2. This drill is designed to help you improve your endurance by simulati ng a long tennis match. Start by playing a regular game up to 4 poin s. When one player reaches 4 points, the game continues until one pla yer wins by 2points. This drill can be played with singles or doubles.

  3. Court Sprinting Drill:
  4. This drill will help improve your speed and stamina by sprinting f rom one side of the court to the other. Start by standing at the b aseline on one side of the court. Sprint to the opposite baseline and back again. Repeat this drill 10 times and rest for 30 seconds in between sets.

  5. Hit the Ball Back and Forth Drill:
  6. This drill is designed to improve your hand-eye coordination and stamina. Start by hitting the ball back and forth with your partn er. After each hit, take a step back until you're at the other e nd of the court. Then hit the ball back again. Repeat this drill for 1-2 minutes and then take a 30 second break.
