Football is a sport that is played between two teams of 11 playe rs each. The object of the game is to score more goals than the other te am. Goals are scored by kicking the ball into the other team's goal

There are many different rules and regulations in football, but the basic pr emise is simple: kick the ball into the other team's goal to score a point. Skills you need to acquire:

  1. Ball control:
  2. This is arguably the most important skill for any footballer. Without being able to control the ball, it will be very difficult to progres s in the game. There are many different ways to practice ball contro l, so find a method that works best for you and stick with it.

  3. Passing:
  4. Another vital skill for any aspiring footballer is the ability to p ass the ball accurately. As with ball control, there are many differ ent techniques you can use to improve your passing. Find one that wo rks for you and practice as often as you can.

  5. Shooting:

  7. Ball Defense:

Rules and regulations in football:

  1. Offside:
  2. One of the most important rules in football, offside is when a player is in front of the last defender when the ball is played through to t hem. This rule prevents players from simply waiting in front of the g oal and tapping the ball into an empty net.

  3. Fouls:
  4. A foul is any illegal action committed by a player on the pitch. Co mmon fouls include kicking or pushing an opponent, tripping an oppo nent, and handball. If a player commits a foul, the opposing team i s awarded a free-kick or penalty depending on the severity of the o ffence.

  5. Free-kicks and penalties:
  6. A free-kick is awarded to the fouled team if a player commits a fou l outside of their own penalty area. A penalty is awarded if a play er commits a foul inside their own penalty area. Free-kicks and pe nalties are both excellent scoring opportunities, so it's importan t to make the most of them.

  7. Yellow Cards:
  8. A yellow card is shown to a player to indicate that they have commi tted a foul. If a player receives two yellow cards in one game, the y are shown a red card and are sent off.

  9. Red Cards
  10. A red card is shown to a player to indicate that they have committe d a serious foul or have been violent on the pitch. A player who is shown a red card is sent off and can not return to the game.

  11. Extra time
  12. If the score is level at the end of 90 minutes, the game will go in to extra time. Extra time consists of two additional periods of 15 minutes each. If the score is still level at the end of extratime, the game will be decided by a penalty shootout.

  13. Penalty shootouts
  14. A penalty shootout is when each team takes turns attempting to scor e from the penalty spot. The team that scores the most goals in the shootout is declared the winner.
